CASE STUDY
House martins and swifts have experienced staggering declines in Western Europe. Despite nesting in our human communities, we know very little about their lives when they migrate to Africa for most of the year. Birds Beyond Borders aims to inspire an understanding of our connection to nature through these urban marvels.

The film uses bird migration as a vehicle to explore how nations like the UK have become some of the most nature-depleted in the world and what we can learn from the global South about wildlife conservation.

The impact campaign for Birds Beyond Borders hopes to boost nesting sites for these red-listed birds and promote initiatives for more green spaces in urban environments, benefiting both people and wildlife.
